Kaiju Girls Black (Japanese: 怪獣娘（黒）, Kaijū Ga ̄ruzu Burakku) is the movie sequel of the Kaiju Girls anime, produced by Tsuburaya Productions. It has a run time of 58 minutes and was released in Japanese theater on November 23, 2018.
On March 13 2020, HIDIVE announced that they have acquired the streaming rights for Kaiju Girls Black, and begun streaming it a week later on March 20 in various countries outside of Japan.[1]
Synopsis[]
Kaiju Girls Black is set in Soshigaya-okura, a small town that's not as noisy as the city nor as quiet as the suburbs. In this prosaic setting, an ordinary high school girl named Satsuki Hiraga longs to join the heroic Kaiju Girls organization GIRLS. One day, she awakens to mysterious powers, but Satsuki instead finds herself recruited by Commander Black of the villainous organization, "BLACK STARS". What's a Kaiju Girl to do?

Trivia[]
- The main characters (excluding Alien Pegassa) are all Kaijus from Ultraman Leo.
- Every characters were redesigned by Komagoma to have a cohesive art style, similar to how the Galaxy Days manga uses Bakutendo's art style.
- A non-anthropomorphised Gatanothor appeared as a silhouette in the background of the second visual before Gatanothor was known to appear in the movie, foreshadowing her appearance.
